Leaf Cleanup in Toronto
Toronto's mature street trees drop a lot of leaves onto small lots. In Leaside, The Beaches, Roncesvalles, The Annex and Leslieville, students rake lawns, clear garden beds and pull leaves out of the corners along fences, then bag everything for pickup.
When to book leaf cleanup in Toronto.
Most leaves come down between mid-October and mid-November. One cleanup after the bulk has fallen is usually enough, though oaks hold on later and some yards need a second pass. Toronto collects yard waste on garbage day from spring to late fall, so check your collection calendar.

Leaf Cleanup in Toronto: common questions.
Do you take the leaves away?
Students bag the leaves and leave them at the curb for the city's yard waste pickup. Let us know whether you'll provide the paper yard waste bags.
Can you clear leaves out of garden beds?
Yes. Say which beds when you book, and the student will rake them out carefully along with the lawn.
Should I wait for every leaf to fall?
Not necessarily. Booking once most trees are bare saves a second visit, but a thick layer left on the lawn for weeks can smother the grass.
Had a student work on your home?
Tell other homeowners how it went. A quick Google review helps more neighbours find a student.
